There's disagreement on the pros and cons of type 44s (brighter, use more current) and 47s (dimmer, less current) so I carry both. In my own humble opinion, both are fine, though on home use I'll use 44s in most cases.
If I'm worried about warping plastics or other burn marks, I'll stick with 47s.
